Pain Condition --- Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD)

RSD is also known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). It is caused by abnormality of nerves. It usually involves arms or legs but can affect any part of the body. It usually follows injury or surgery but it can occur without any obvious cause. Painful area of the body usually shows swelling, skin color and temperature changes, as well as hypersensitivity.

Interventional treatment options include Sympathetic Nerve Blocks or Spinal Cord Stimulator Trial.
